Arguably the largest UK based staffing firm in the US dedicated to the Clean Energy space, we have 10+ years industry experience and have a proven track record of building out and establishing markets across NYC, Miami, Austin and LA with a search approach of an inch wide, mile deep.
So, the opportunity?
With the support of 70+ colleagues, across 4 US locations, and a pedigree that spans 10+ years in establishing and developing markets like Future Mobility, Sustainability, Cleantech & EPC. This is an opportunity to continue scaling part of the Development Lifecycle;
1). Project & Origination - The Big Idea; Projects of Solar, Wind, Storage etc.
2). Financing - Securing Funding.
3). Development - Identifying & Acquiring of land
4). Pre Construction - Co-ordination of all parties.
5). Execution / Construction - Getting the job done.
6). Operational Asset - Up and running, maintained or sold.
This role is overseeing various stages, complimenting the wider Miami Divisions to complete the Lifecycle of Development. In a candidate led market, taking high profile & SME's to clients is your golden ticket! A candidate led market and based on legislation passed 'IRA - Inflation Reduction Act', has opened the market up for $374 billion investment in the next 10 years, creating a HOT market.
A team that boasts a modest; $36k PPH over Q.1, 'Full house' of team deals in Q.1, 3 of 4 hit lunch club in Q.1, currently working on 80% retained basis, signed 8 new clients & placements with 4 already in Q.1, 1 promotion this year already & successfully exited an Escape room social night with 10 minutes to spare!
Office location - Brickell, Miami. 16 months ago, the office was launched with 5 of the highest performers internally, since then, we have attracted some of the best experienced talent, developed entry level & relocated expats to a cultural melting pot of an office. In the vibey, WorQ - co -working spaces, we've upgraded & outgrown our old office in true LHi start up style! Currently 14 heads, we have ambitions of growing to 25 before the end of the year.

Could you be our next US leader?
- Strategic leadership develop and execute a long-term growth strategy for the Miami office in line with company goals.
- Identify opportunities to expand market share in the Development & The Development Lifecycle staffing sector.
- Build and enhance the Piper Maddox brand reputation in the U.S. market.
- Team management & development lead, mentor, and inspire a team of recruitment consultants and managers.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and results.
- Recruit and onboard top talent to grow the team.
- Sales & revenue growth through business development efforts to build strong client relationships with technology companies.
- Oversee sales targets, KPIs, and team performance to ensure revenue growth.
- Build strategies to acquire new clients and maintain strong partnerships with existing ones.
- Development of accounts
- Market expertise stay ahead of trends in technology recruitment, identifying growth areas and market demands.
- Serve as a thought leader for the brand, promoting colleagues to represent Lawrence Harvey at events, conferences, and in public forums.
- Operational excellence collaborate with other global offices to align business operations and share best practices.
- Continue promotion of cross functional collaboration - through Life Sciences, Clean Energy & Built Environment industries.
What We're Looking For?
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in staffing, ideally in the Engineering / Renewables associated sector.
- Recruited in a 'candidate led' market
- Proven track record of growing and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong business development and client acquisition background.
- Management of Managers essential. Skills: Exceptional leadership and motivational abilities.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute actionable plans.
- Expertise in U.S. recruitment market dynamics, particularly within the technology sector.
- Attributes: Results-driven with a passion for building relationships and driving growth.
- Collaborative and inspiring team player.
- Adaptable to fast-paced, competitive environments.
